Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning and healthy living advice.  The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Sister Vivien James

Vivien is Telford born and bred and has never left Telford. She is married and has two adult children. After qualifying in 2003 she worked in the Princess Royal Hospital on the wards for 2 years and the Intensive Care Unit for 9 years. She then moved to the District Nurses for 4 years and became a Practice Nurse in 2018. She joined the Charlton team in September 2021.

Her work special interests are Infection Prevention and Control and she is our Green Champion. 

Outside work you will find her spending time with her family, walking her dog, cycling and learning to run.
