Carrie Anne Wood

Practice Manager

Carrie Anne has worked at Charlton Medical Centre since 2010 fulfilling various roles including Finance and Payroll Manager, Covid vaccination lead, and Assistant to the previous Practice Manager. She is responsible for the smooth running of the Medical Centre and is currently studying towards the AMSPAR Diploma in Primary Care and Health Management.


Julie Wheaver

Teams Manager

Our Teams Manager is Julie and she is responsible for the smooth running of the Reception and Administration Departments. During her time at Charlton, Julie has worked in both departments and has a wealth of knowledge, in particular about our telephone and appointment system. 


Our administration team plays an important role within the practice, carrying out all the administrative duties. Some of their tasks include: issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, patient referrals, medical report requests and answering patient queries


Our reception team are a vital link for patient’s initial contact with the practice and are trained to direct you to the most appropriate clinician or service depending on your health issue or query. As well as making most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses, our receptionists also perform other important tasks such as answering patient queries and registering new patients.
